Iiiiiiits Wednesday!!
The most happiest of weekdays! (Other than Friday, of course.)

And since it is one of my most favoritest days, I shall share some of my most favoritest things!

Most favorite fanfics I've read this week:
SUPERNATURAL
3am in Rufus's Cabin, by Clair B: Missing scene for "Girl Next Door" Bobby recounts getting the Winchesters to Rufus's cabin once they've fled the hospital.

SUITS
A Pup's Loyalty, by KaiMeraPrince:It was just another day Mike found himself rushing to work to save a case. Until his bike decided to get acquainted with a car and Mike found himself having to save with the use of only one arm. Hurt!Mike, Caring!Harvey and Caring!Donna.

Most favorite videos on my list:
A really adorable Merlin and Arthur video. It was posted in Jan 2012, so spoilers only probably up until series 4.
"I Like The Way You Stand By Me."

I've probably shared this one before. It is one of my most favorite Harry Potter videos. The bunnies are always hopping when I hear this song.
"The Weight of Us"

I have most likely already rec'd this beaut. Sam & Dean video. Spoilers up to and maybe including season 5.
"I Will Try to Fix You"

YeeHawwwwwww!!!

I will have to come back and check out your recs/vids later, well, except for the Merlin one because I still cannot bring myself to read or watch anything Merlin related. They well and truly gutted me. And I've never watched Suits.....

47 more minutes! (Well, 47 plus the 15 I need to skip all the commercials...)

One of these days, we should try to watch "together" via chat or IM or something.

25 minutes for me! 40 for you!

There is another Merlin and Arthur video that encompasses the entire series by the same vidder that is just beautiful and heartbreaking. But then they include the very last scene from the series and it throws me out and peeves me off again. haha. I'm still trying to swallow that finale too.

I'd love to watch and ep "with" you! You'd have to suffer through commercials with me though. We could pass the time by squeeing. I'm on yahoo IM. I think you have my email--it's the same handle.

I don't have Yahoo messenger on my ipad but I'll look in to finding an app for next time.

I have to say this one was pretty boring. The Bromo was the ONLY thing it had going for it. I think it may be right up there with Bugs, to tell the truth.

Yeah. There were some good Bromos, but I was mostly disheartened by them.

I wasn't disheartened as I felt Sam showed good insight and makes a good point that it isn't that Dean does not trust Sam. He trusts him as much as he is able to trust anyone. He just trusts himself more. Dean may have insecurities out the wazoo that have been well explored over the seasons but one thing I think he does trust about himself is his overall judgement, gut instinct, and the ability to make a command decision. He has that ability, for the most part, to make the hard decisions and, right or wrong, doesn't spend a whole lot of time second guessing them.

I also like that Dean does not seem to blow Sam off, here, and he seems to really consider what Sam says. Now, I don't know how the haphazard, cobbled MoTW story helped him reach any sort of epiphany with regard to trusting Sam with the trials but, whatever. I am also glad that there is a valid reason for Sam hiding his illness from Dean. Now, I don't know if these are new symptoms or not because Sam didn't seem too shocked to be coughing up blood. In my experience that scares the shit out of people. Of course, Dean and Sam don't scare as easily as most. At this point, can he even relate the symptoms to the trials? Aside from keeping it from Dean because of all Dean had just said to him, if I am going under the assumption that Sam doesn't know why he is having these symptoms, his behavior even then is pretty consistent with how he deals and, really, it is how I see some people deal all the time.

There's the, ignore it and it will go away
The, it only happened this one time. I'll see if it goes away.
The, I don't want to worry my family over nothing.
The, I don't want to worry my family at all.
The, I don't want anyone to make a fuss over me/care for me.

For Sam, this is pretty consistent with his personality. We went a long time through season one before he admits to Dean that he had dreamed of Jessica's death before it happened. What was it, episode 10! And he only told him them, I think, because they needed to go back to their old house. If not for that, I wonder if he would have left it till a breaking point or ever told him at all.

So, all of that was very consistent with their characters and also managed to cover new territory/insight at the same time. I love that!

But the MotW story totally sucked... LOL

And that was way more chatty than I intended. It's what this show does to me!!
